Classic Rock Review July 2011:

Check out the latest review of our Heavy Rock Spectacular album in CLASSIC ROCK magazine (July 2011). Satanists? A confusing legacy? What will they write next? :-)

"We look forward to seeing you at THE BITTERN (Thornhill, Southampton) on Saturday 24 Sep, and at THE SPYGLASS & KETTLE (Southbourne) on Saturday 1 October"

April 2011 - Easter Weekend:

"A huge THANK YOU to our friends and Stoker fans who attended our gig at the Yew Tree Pub at Odstock on Saturday, 23 April.... a great time was had by all! It was small and cramped (Rob couldn't even set up his spinning cymbals) but we had a lot of fun. It was so good to see some of the "old faces", too... Patrick (our old roadie), and Jim Bavin (with wife Jackie). Thanks guys for being there. We welcomed all your comments and evaluations... great food for thought. Please keep checking the website for upcoming gigs to ensure we'll see you again soon!"

Update Oct 2010:

Bram Stoker re-formed in 2009 and composed new material. The songwriting continues.... We will announce when new recordings are available.

The band is now based in Tony Bronsdon’s present home town of Salisbury, Wiltshire.

"Dear Bramstoker, I just thought you'd be heartened by this story. I was on Cambridge market this lunchtime - there's a very good second-hand vinyl stall there some days - and the guy who runs it put on your album on the deck because he was curious about the cover. He had no idea about the band, in fact none of us did, and there were no details on the sleeve. Anyhow this prompted a discussion amongst those of us old rockers leafing through the Prog Rock/Krautrock boxes about who this band could have been with such great keyboards etc etc ... just like 1970 all over again. A great nostalgia moment. So I had to look you up on the internet. I didn't buy it at the time, which I regret, though I hope he hasn't sold it by tomorrow lunchtime. That's all really. all the best, jonathan burt" (16/2/2011)

"Hi Guys, I’ve been a fan of the HRS album for many years now, so it was great to see your site and finally have the proof that you were a real band! I kind of knew this anyway from seeing gig ads etc in the back of old music mags. I should introduce myself, my name is Lee Dorrian, former vocalist with Napalm Death (!) and current vocalist with British metal band Cathedral, who are currently celebrating our 21st/final year. I also run Rise Above Records which has been going for 22 years now. Aside from releasing contemporary underground rock music, we also specialise in reissues of more obscure releases from the late 60’s/early 70’s on our sub-label Rise Above Relics. Being as though the album has been bootlegged so many times – how would you fancy doing a detailed legitimate reissue with sleevenotes telling your story and photographs etc? Just an idea. If it’s some that interests you, just drop me a line and we can discuss further. Cheers for the minute" (Lee Dorrian - 13/2/2011)

"Hi It's nice to know you guys are still alive:) Can you tell me what tracks we did at Kingsway Studios. By the way I was Purples producer not manager. Cheers - Derek" (Derek Lawrence - 22/1/2011)

"Hi Rob................ I just found your BRAMSTOKER 'site.............if you guys ever play in or around Herts. please email me. I saw you play at FARX, Potters Bar, in late 1970.............. great stuff !!! I still play 'HRS', as I have an original vinyl copy............. Regards, Bob Sawyer (ex- Iron Maiden)" (5/12/2010)
